During this time as a cameraman his travels have taken him to lands faraway and Cities that never sleep. Turning his lens on filmstars in airports to hotels in war torn lands, starving families around the globe. Cliff has been privilege to cover some of the worlds top news stories.I have lived the life of a photographer in the fast lane for more then 25 years with a career in documentary, news, editorial potrait photography.
Many of my images have grazed national and international newspapers and magazines world wide. Now along with his wife Andrea we live close to the Strandja Mountains in the heart of rural Bulgaria and live a very drifferant and slower pace of life, we grow our own vegetables have free range chickens rear sheep and pigs, all in the small rural village of Malomirovo

We garden for wildlife
06/03/2026
Turning your garden into a wildlife haven is primarily about providing four essentials: food, water, shelter, and safe passage.Garden for Wildlife has a variety of plants to bring back butterflies, birds and native bees to your area. Shop now and plant with purpose.
Go wild in your garden! Large or small, ledge or yard, your garden can be a mosaic in a wider network of natural havens linking urban green spaces with nature reserves and the countryside.
Together, our gardens are a vast living landscape. With an estimated 44 million gardens in the Europe , the way they are cared for can make a big difference to the natural world.
Hedgehogs, bats, sparrows, song thrushes and stag beetles are all declining species in the UK, but if we manage our gardens to benefit wildlife, these creatures and many more will find refuge.
Explore ways to attract pollinators, by planting a range of native species to flower throughout the year. The simple act of providing water for wildlife will have a huge impact. Try leaving a patch of logs or long grass undisturbed all year, giving shelter to all sorts of wildlife. And go chemical and peat-free, to maintain a healthy ecosystem

Behind the Nikon
09/04/2026
My impending retirement from editorial photography and my love of documentary photography, photography, NPA (Norton Photo Agency Est 1986. Sadly, my golf is limited to the seaside putting green. I have always enjoyed photography from an early age, and my first camera was a Kodak 12. Currently, I use Nikon Z9, Nikon D850, Nikon DH2 and my Nikon Zf, and a selection of Nikon prime and zoom lenses.
Technology is certainly not my speciality subject. My photographs within my portfolio have been run through Lightroom and Photoshop editing ( I only edit on a screen, levels, contrast, colour and shading and burning each step I use in the digital editing I used in the traditional wetroom (darkroom) colour and black and white printing.
The Norton agency (www.nortonagency.co.uk) website is a work selected from thousands of photographs taken over the years, building up to this day, starting my retirement life in wildlife and nature photography.
I hope that you enjoy the snapshot of my new life away from breaking stories, conflicts and editorial portraits, as much as I am enjoying my time behind the wild lens.
